UK / EU - November Shipping update for Lydia and Elinor
First of all thank you again for your continued patience and support of our small business in 2020.
The challenges for 2020 are not quite over with yes, it seems. The port of Felixstowe, where our goods have landed for import, has a severe backlog of containers and goods. Our shipping company contacted us today to say that it looks like our items won't clear until closer to Christmas, which means they will make an attempt to deliver to our warehouse sometime between Christmas and New Year. Once we have the goods then we can start shipping to you but it will be closer to the New Year then end of November.
There have been so many challenges this year - from remotely staffing the office, to scarcity of raw materials and then intermittent factory closures that it has sometimes been quite an uphill battle to get things done. But we have the best possible customer base and your support and patience have made it that much easier during this highly demanding year.
I am incredibly disappointed that goods are being held at Felixstowe port, but there is unfortunately nothing we can do about it right now. We had goods out of the factory in record time and on board the ship on time but the back log at Felixstowe is affecting everyone, not just A Girl for All Time, unfortunately.

I will continue to update you as I get more news. In the meantime, I will keep pushing our delivery company to see what can be done and I will keep trying to remain positive and hopeful that our goods will arrive as soon as possible so that we can ship out to you as soon as we can.
Thanks again
Frances
